Every line says how we know
A badge tells you someone was paid. A Viamitra report tells you what an independent engineer checked, what they saw, and what is only the supplier's word, one line at a time.
Five labels, and no plain facts
No fact appears without one. A rule in the software.
- VERIFIED: Checked against an independent source
- Checked against a source outside the company: a certification body's register, a company registry, customs data.
- OBSERVED: Seen on site by the verifier
- Seen by the verifier on site: machines running, a test done, a process followed. Photos are in the report.
- DECLARED: The supplier's own statement, not checked
- The supplier's own statement. Useful, but nobody has checked it, and the report says so.
- NOT CHECKED: Not yet checked
- Outside this report's scope. Listed so nobody reads silence as a yes.
- DISPUTED: The supplier disputes the finding; the verifier decides
- The supplier disagrees with a finding. The line stays visible, marked, until the verifier decides.

The rules that keep the verifier independent
One verifier per industry
A named, qualified person under contract: a materials engineer for composites, an IATF 16949 auditor for automotive parts, a welding engineer for wind. You see their name and qualifications on every report.
A fixed fee, whatever they find
The verifier is paid per report, not per pass. Nothing they earn depends on a supplier joining or staying.
We can't change a finding
Viamitra publishes the report as the verifier wrote it. Only the verifier can change a line, and only the verifier decides a dispute.
Photos without locations
Site photos are shown to buyers with the location data removed. The originals are kept unchanged, as evidence.
Renewed every year
Each report carries its visit date and its renewal date, so you always know how fresh it is.
What a report isn't
It isn't a quality guarantee for your goods, or a substitute for your own audit before serial supply. It's an honest starting point that saves you a first trip.
